On the stormy ride home last night from work, my wife and I noticed about a quarter of a tree down and stretched across the street about a block down to the right.  It was stretched across both lanes of traffic.  Luckily it had landed between the parked cars on that block.  Also luckily we were turning about a half a block earlier.  So no tree "interrupt-us".
